Dear Partners,
In light of the current regional geopolitical developments, we would like to provide an operational update regarding logistics and transportation activities in the United Arab Emirates.
Ports & Maritime Operations
Operation at Jebel Ali Port and other Dubai ports are currently suspended until further notice as authorities implement precautionary security and operational measures. As a result, sea freight movements through Dubai ports are temporarily impacted.
In response, Dubai authorities have introduced an executive order establishing a “Green Channel” between Dubai ports and Oman ports. This initiative is intended to facilitate the movement of essential cargo and maintain regional supply chain continuity via alternative routing through Oman.
Air Cargo Operations
Airlines continue to adjust operations across the region. Emirates Airline (EK) has reported that passenger flights are operating; however, cargo acceptance remains suspended at this time. Cargo capacity is therefore currently limited and subject to airline operational decisions.
Customs & Inland Logistics
Dubai Customs remains operational and is implementing additional measures to facilitate cargo movement through alternative corridors where possible. Inland logistics operations continue, although delays may occur depending on routing adjustments.
Priority Worldwide is offering land transportation from UAE to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, as an alternative solution.
