General:
M6.3 earthquake hit central Croatia on 29.12 and caused major damage to Petrinja and also to neighbouring areas Glina, Sisak and parts of Zagreb. All Croatian National civil protection services are on site as well as Croatian Red Cross. Domestic search and rescue activities continue. The Croatian government has asked for international assistance under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism
Air:
Zagreb/ZAG is the main airport in the country and is operational. Airport NOTAM indicates reduced hours of operation
Road:
Road access and cargo flow is mostly normal. The Brest Bridge near Petrinja was damaged so alternate road access routes to Petrinja are required
