Port of Valencia – Transportation update ***

Blocked roads: The main access and exit routes from the Port of Valencia continue to be closed or in a state of collapse. What used to be a 2-hour journey has now turned into a trip of 6 to 7 hours. This is due not only to necessary detours but also to the saturation of alternative routes, which are not equipped to handle such traffic- Risk of saturation at the port: The Port of Valencia itself faces the risk of becoming saturated in this scenario of collapsed entries and exits- Damage to transport vehicles: Many trucks and trailers have suffered damage due to flooding, and efforts are currently being made to recover them.
