Our understanding is that foreign NGOs must have a local INGO in Myanmar able to receive. IOR has to be an INGO who can support approval letters submitted to Myanmar MOFA for approval to import. We understand two main channels 1) Liaise via Myanmar MOFA in Myanmar 2) Liaise with Myanmar embassy in county of origin of goods or in nearest neighboring ASEAN nation. IOR approvals are complex in MM.
