Green channels between UAE & Oman, UAE & KSA are allowing ocean carriers to slowly expand a landbridge service for UAE origin containers needing to board sailings from Indian Ocean & Red Sea ports to avoid the Hormuz Straits issue. Increasingly, major SSL are able to offer service including landbridge trucking to Sohar & Jeddah Ports & then exit by ocean freight.
