1/2 MEA airlines remains the only commercial air carrier serving Beirut, but flights are subject short notice aircraft upgrade/downgrade and re-routing/diversion due to security. Military aircraft & air evac aircraft charter activity has begun this week. Limited commercial cargo charter options, ops are subjective to war risk insurance premium & security is of course changeable. Interface with Lebanon MOFA/MOD required for landing permission.
