Iran/ME Escalation: Ocean freight carriers have started to introduce emergency contingency charges (ECS/ESS) charges for future bookings to/from Middle East region (all destinations). This impacts both future bookings and those current bookings already accepted if not already in transit. Many liners are re-routing sailings away from Suez canal/Red Sea & of course Straits of Hormuz (impact to Gulf ports)
