IFRC has launched an emergency appeal for the 650,000+ people affected by Cyclone Remal 27-28 May. Flight operations were affected at Dhaka (DAC) and Cox’s Bazaar (CXB ) airports however operations are mostly back to normal now. DAC is main airport gateway followed by Chittagong (CGP). Most air cargo capacity is to/from Dhaka Airport. Ports of Chittagong and Mongla are main ocean ports. Dhaka is inland port.
